Hi All, Any of you had the seasonal jumping beans? They're the only pet my parents will let me have, because they technically don't exactly die, just metamorphose and then fly away and die somewhere where you don't know, and they don't need a vet, walk, cleanup brigade, or even special maintenance or attention. They're fun, but I want a kitty. Waaaa. www.mypetbeans.com is my favorite site about htem, if you wanna check it out. Very cute.

excellent imagine a bereaved owner whose beans flew away posting an ad asking for her pet's safe return...you never know it might just happen.

They're seasonal, and I think the season is over this year, but you can check at www.mypetbeans.com. Alison, they come in a little tin or box, depending on which package you get, so as long as you keep them closed and high up or away from your dogs, they shoudl be safe! Lol!

Jumping beans in my opinion are a waste of money they jump around for a few hours and then they die and stop. The reason they jump is because there is a little caterpiller in there. I have 3 cats and a dog so I dont need MJB LOL

It's actually a moth, I found out. And they shouldnt' die after a few hours. They stop jumping after a few hours because they're tired. A way to stimulate them is to put them under a light. They move away from the light and jump.

Ah ha! I wonder if they would do for exercising a Mexican Red Kneed Tarantula and would she be able to penetrate the shell to attack the catepillar...Hmm I feel an experiment coming on
Cheers..smile
